Fukuyama City in Hiroshima Prefecture boasts the highest denim production in Japan.
This is a flagship product from (terroir), based in Fukuyama City.
Unlike regular denim, each yarn is hand-dyed to its core, resulting in a gradual aging process and unique appearance from the fading of each thread.
The slowly woven fabric is soft and has a texture unique to shuttle looms.
Furthermore, the selvedge, a major characteristic of shuttle loom woven fabrics, is dyed in four shades of indigo to create a beautiful gradation.

Responsible color production through integrated manufacturing
Indigo dyeing begins with agriculture.
We cultivate the soil, create dyes, and dye the fabrics ourselves, consistently and carefully, so that the unique characteristics of each region's natural environment are reflected in our colors.
